Zeekr opens 2027 7X pre-sales with new 85kWh battery and 900V across the range

Zeekr has opened pre-sales for the 2027 7X from RMB 229,800 (approx. US$33,800), unchanged from the current car, adding a new 85kWh battery option and making 900V electrics standard on every version.

Buyers who place a RMB 2,000 (approx. US$290) deposit before launch receive a RMB 7,000 (approx. US$1,030) credit. Zeekr has not yet released prices for individual trims, and the official launch is due in the fourth quarter.

Three trims, three batteries

The line-up starts with the rear-drive Max, which pairs a 75kWh battery with a 370kW motor for 620km of CLTC range. The Max+ moves to the new 85kWh pack for 680km, with a 103kWh pack optional for up to 802km.

The 2027 Zeekr 7X adds a new 85kWh battery option.

The all-wheel-drive Ultra uses the 103kWh battery, makes 585kW, and claims 0-100km/h in 2.98s and 715km of range.

The 75kWh and 85kWh packs are Geely Golden Brick batteries with peak charging of 5.5C, taking 10.5 minutes to go from 10 to 80%. The 103kWh pack is a CATL Qilin battery rated at 6C, which trims that to 10 minutes.

We’re not sure why it hasn’t received the new 12C charging available on the Zeekr 001 but we will certainly ask the question.

Driver assistance and cabin

Geely’s G-ASD 4.1 driver assistance system, which handles navigation-assisted driving from one parking space to another, is standard along with a roof-mounted lidar sensor.

Standard equipment also includes active road noise cancellation, electromagnetic damping, and a tyre-blowout stability system.

The interior remains largely unchanged design wise, but Zeekr has fitted zero-gravity front seats and added two new exterior colours.

The 7X measures 4,825mm long and 1,930mm wide, on a 2,925mm wheelbase.

Sales

The 7X accounted for 86,806 of Zeekr’s deliveries between January and September, about 30% of the brand’s total, with 12,041 sold in September alone.

Zeekr delivered 32,483 vehicles in October, up 51.6% year-on-year, as reported in our October NEV sales live blog.
