Lynk & Co 10 EM-P Debuts as Tech-Packed Plug-In Hybrid Sedan

Hybrid version of Z10 gets Geely’s H7 ADAS system and twin motors and up to 523hp on tap.

Lynk & Co has unveiled its new 10 EM-P, a premium four-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid sedan that’s expected to be priced from around RMB 200,000 (£20,400 / $27,900).

The model, which sits on the CMA Evo platform, rather than the SEA platform that underpins its all electric sister the Z10, features a 1.5-litre turbocharged hybrid powertrain delivering 523 hp and a 5.1-second 0–100 km/h sprint.

Standout tech includes an advanced G-Pilot H7 driving system powered by Nvidia’s Drive Thor chip and a lavish interior with massaging seats and an onboard refrigerator.

The model, which will be sold in China initially, is expected to be sold in international markets starting in 2026.

Measuring 5,050 mm long, 1,966 mm wide, and 1,487 mm tall, with a 3,005 mm wheelbase, the 10 EM-P is 22 mm longer and up to 24 mm taller than the Z10.

Its design takes the form of a saloon with a long, low nose, and a fastback rear profile, featuring Lynk & Co’s iconic twin-strip daytime running lights and dashed-line taillights with vertical elements.

It debuts new wheel designs that go to a maximum 21-inches in size, as well as new pearlescent paint colours including Gilded Gold, which takes on a greenish hue, Sky Cloud Rice, and Glass Light Purple.

Sporty details include a lip spoiler at the front, side skirts, and a bootlid spoiler and rear diffuser, while a lidar unit above the windscreen supports the car’s high-end ADAS functions.

Inside, the 10 comes with a choice of four colours, orange, white, black, and grey, and boasts premium materials throughout including leather, Ultrasuede, and metal, as well as contrasting seat belt colours.

All four outer occupants benefit from heated, ventilated, and massaging seats, while the rear seats get electronic backrest angle adjustment of between 117- and 124-degrees, a totally flat floor, and fold-down tray table that can support 15kg on the back of the front passenger seat.

Entertainment comes by way of a 15.4-inch central touchscreen supported by a 23-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, including a pop-up unit on the dashboard for added drama.

The centre console also gains a 5.7-litre storage unit that can cool to between -6- and 10-degrees, and heat to between 35- and 50-degrees.

The 10 EM-P, the P of which indicates it’s the performance version of Geely’s hybrid powertrain, gets a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine boasting 120kW of power and a thermal efficiency of 47.26 percent, plus dual electric motors, 90kW on the front and 180kW on the rear, producing 390kW / 523hp and 755Nm of torque in total.

Two battery options will be available, an 18.4kWh unit for up to 120km of electric range on the CLTC cycle, and a 28.2kWh battery for 240km of electric range.

Charging takes 15 minutes from 30 to 80 percent, and fuel consumption is as little as 4.2-litres per 100km.

Geely’s 3-speed DHT hybrid transmission means the 10 can drive on full electric power, combined engine and electric power, or use the engine to charge the battery.

Sporting a lidar unit and an NVIDIA Drive Thor-U chip with 700TOPS of processing power, the 10 is equipped with the G-Pilot H7 ADAS system, enabling hands-free highway driving and urban navigation without maps, as well as automatic parking.

5G connectivity and over-the-air updates ensure the car stays up-to-date at all times.

Prices have yet to be announced but could come in under the RMB 200,000 (£20,400 / $27,900) mark as the single motor Z10 starts at RMB 186,800 and hybrids tend to cost slightly less than their electric counterparts but the 10 only comes with a dual-motor set up.

It will compete against the likes of the BYD Han L PHEV and the Fulwin A9.
