Uber luxurious variant of the 009 Grand Edition ranks up the prestige levels even further.

Zeekr has launched the 009 Grand Collector’s Edition, an even more opulent version of their flagship electric MPV, that features a unique paint scheme, furnishings, and 24-carat gold details.
Retailing for RMB 899,000 (£??,??? / $??,???), the Collector’s Edition builds upon the standard 009 Grand’s unparalleled luxury spec list by adding uniquely artisanal flourishes that aim to capture the essence of ancient Chinese heritage, such as a mirror black paint finish with gold accents that replicates a special ceramic created during China’s Ming Dynasty.
The golden waistline, a slim strip of gold that runs the length of the car below the windows, reportedly takes 16 steps to achieve and is crafted by hand over the course of 30 hours.
In addition, the Collector’s Edition adds real gold-plated emblems on the front, rear, and wheels, containing three grams of 24-carat gold, one-upping the gold-plated badge that features on the front of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.

In addition, the 20-inch forged alloys, the design of which is taken from the standard Grand Edition, feature an advanced PVD coating and something known as femtosecond laser engraving, which etches 240 lines onto the surface of the wheel to create a unique effect that catches the light as the wheel rotates.
Inside, passengers are treated to a soft carpet that uses fleece from young Peruvian alpacas that roam the mountains at 4,000 metres above sea level.
Zeekr claim the fibres offer unrivalled softness and warmth, something that might just persuade you to take your shoes off on a long journey just to enjoy it.
The 009 Grand Collector’s Edition appears to be aimed at affluent businessmen who find the standard Grand Edition just that little bit ordinary, though it would take an incredible lawyer to argue that it was.

For reference, the standard Zeekr 009 Grand Edition features a four-seat layout, with 24-way adjustable captain’s seats in the rear, facing a 43-inch screen, that’s supported by a 30-speaker sound system, 23 of which are dedicated to the rear cabin.
It also features a champagne fridge, a unique cabin scent derived from a flower so valuable it has been traded in place of gold in previous times, special privacy glass that prevents anyone outside from being able to see in, and even satellite connectivity.
The 20-way adjustable second-row seats come with heating, ventilation, and 22-point massaging functions that even include the leg rest, and sit between specially reinforced C-pillars designed to ensure occupants are particularly protected in a side on collision with a truck.
Hand-polished forged alloys and front grille, as well as real Himalayan stone inlays that ensure each car is unique, cap off what was probably the most luxurious MPV money could buy, until the Collector’s Edition came along.
