Pre-orders Opened for Zeekr 7X in Sweden, Norway, and the Netherlands

The Zeekr 7X mid-size SUV will start from as little as $48,250 in Sweden and will go to RHD markets including Australia and possibly the UK.

Customers in Sweden, Norway, and the Netherlands can now pre-order the Zeekr 7X ahead of expected deliveries in summer 2025.

The fully electric mid-size SUV, which we reviewed here, joins the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X as the brand’s third model to be offered in Europe, with additional left- and right-hand drive markets set to follow later in 2025.

Prices for the 7X will be at their lowest in Sweden, where it will be offered from 529,000 Swedish kronor, or $48,240. That’s a slightly more than 52 percent increase on base prices in China, in part due to the recent tariffs levelled by the EU, which are 19.3 percent for Geely products.

In Norway, prices are slightly higher at 539,900 Norwegian kronor, around $48,360, and in the Netherlands prices are highest, starting at 52,990 euros, or $55,710, a 76 percent increase over Chinese prices.

The Zeekr 7X will be available in Premium, Long Range, and Performance variants like in China, with the first two being single-motor rear-wheel drive and the latter being a dual-motor, all-wheel drive setup.

All versions get a 310kW / 440Nm motor on the rear axle, while the dual-motor version adds a 160kW / 270Nm motor on the front axle, for a total of 470kW and 710Nm of torque, good for a 0-100kph sprint of 3.8 seconds.

Both the 75kWh LFP ‘Golden Brick’ battery, developed by Zeekr, and the 100kWh NMC Qilin battery, from CATL, will be offered, the former on the Premium model and the latter on the Long Range and Performance editions.

On the WLTP cycle, the maximum range for the smaller battery is 480km (298 miles), while the larger battery gets up to 615km (382 miles) in the Long Range version, with charging from 10-80% in 13 and 16 minutes respectively on a 360kW charger, though faster chargers can achieve higher speeds if available.

On-board AC charging of 22kW is also available for those using a home charger, with charging times from 10-100% of 4.5 and 5.5 hours on the respective batteries.

The 7X is actually slightly smaller in Europe than in China with dimensions of 4,787mm in length, 1,930mm in width, 1,650mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,900mm, making it about 4cm shorter overall.

Wheels of 19- to 21-inches are available, as is optional active air suspension that can raise the ride height by up to 45mm for mild off-roading and lower by 25mm for for high-speed driving.

Luggage space is rated at 539-litres at the back, while frunks are available on both single- and dual-motor variants, with up to 66-litres available on the former.

Inside, infotainment is driven by the Snapdragon 8295 processor and 5G connectivity, and is available on the central 16-inch HD touchscreen, which comes complete with ZeekrGPT for voice control of various functions including climate control and navigation.

An additional 36.2-inch augmented reality head-up display helps keep eyes on the road, while some ADAS ability is made possible courtesy of 11 cameras, 1 radar, though European versions won’t get the lidar or city-level ADAS support of Chinese models.

What they will get is Adaptive Cruise Control, 3D Digital Surround View Monitoring, Front- and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Full Automatic Park Assist.

Over-the-air updates will of course be available.

Zeekr is also offering a 5+5 warranty, which covers the first five years or 100,000km, and an optional extension for a further five years and 100,000km if servicing is carried out in the Zeekr network. Both batteries get an eight-year, 200,000km warranty.
