Leapmotor B10 Revealed in Paris

Leapmotor has revealed the B10 compact SUV ahead of its debut at the Paris Auto Show.

The B10, the smallest SUV in the Leapmotor range, is expected to go on sale in China first before global sales in Stellantis markets begin next year, following on from the recent launches of the T03 supermini and C10 SUV, which we reviewed here.

Prices haven’t yet been announced for the B10 but it’s predicted that it could sit between the 100,000 and 150,000RMB range in China, making it a quite stunningly affordable car.

The B10 is the first of what will become several B-series models in the Leapmotor line-up and will sit on the latest Leap 3.5 platform, suggesting both EV and EREV drivetrains could be available, though only the EV will likely make global sales.

We’ll update this article as and when we get further details on the B10, but as we can see from the images it blends elements of the C10 and the C11 models, with slimmer running lights and a pronounced ‘chin’ giving it quite a sharp and dynamic face.

A similar technique is used at the rear to give the B10 a look reminiscent of the early Porsche Macan with the toggled pixel look of the C11 helping to add extra character.

Leapmotor was quite keen to reinforce similarities to the Maserati Grecale with earlier official spy shots of the B10 but that’s not so apparent on the official images, which nevertheless show a car with possibly the best proportions of all the current Leapmotor range.

The official images also show the car with a lidar unit despite being shot in Paris. We can expect European versions to lose the lidar for now.

It’s expected to be similar in size to a BYD Sea Lion 7.

Leapmotor has been riding something of a wave of late setting record delivery numbers for four consecutive months, now comfortably topping 30,000 sales. European car giant Stellantis bought a decent chunk of the company last year and formed a joint venture to sell the brand’s products outside of China.

They recently started sales of the T03 and C10 in 13 European countries and the B10 is confirmed to begin sales in 2025. The brand should have around 350 global sales outlets by the end of the year.

We’ll add more images and information as we get it.
